Motel Revisited reimagines the hotel typology as a public space, encouraging social interaction between guests and visitors by situating rooms along communal balconies, shifting the focus from the individual to the collective. The rooms are recessed into the hillside, providing natural cooling during the hot summer months.

A covered public terrace, featuring a bar, lobby, restaurant, and pool, extends the existing plaza on a level plane, presenting itself as a pavilion when viewed from the winery. These public spaces are clad in terracotta tiles, their color evoking the earth from which the wine grapes are grown. From the vineyard, the building takes on a more volumetric form, with rooms stacked between slabs, ensuring that every guest enjoys a view.
